Payment Policy
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER — effective date]
How and when payments are made, what Square processes, and what remains payable directly to your vendors.
1.Accepted methods
Payments are processed through Square. Square accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, along with other methods Square supports on the invoice or checkout you receive.
Online checkout on this website is not yet active. Until it is, we send a secure Square invoice by email. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm whether check or ACH is also accepted.]
2.Retainer and schedule
A signed agreement and retainer are required to reserve your date. Remaining fees are billed on the installment schedule in your agreement, with the final installment typically due before the event. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm standard installment schedule.]
3.Vendor payments
Unless your agreement states otherwise, venue, catering, rental, floral, and entertainment costs are contracted in your name and paid by you directly to each vendor. We track those due dates and remind you in advance.
4.Invoices and receipts
Invoices are emailed and include an itemized description of the amount due. Square issues a receipt to the email on file when a payment is completed.
5.Late payments
Work may pause if an invoice is past due, which can affect vendor deadlines. [PLACEHOLDER — late fee or interest terms, if any, to be confirmed with counsel and stated in the services agreement.]
6.Taxes and fees
Applicable California sales or use tax, service charges, and gratuities may be added where required. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm taxability of services with your accountant.]
7.Payment security
Card data is entered directly into Square's payment interface. Aaron Shape Events LLC does not receive, process, or store full card numbers, and no payment credentials are held in this website.
